inxire released ECMSDK 1.0

ECMSDK Release 1.0 is now freely available for download.

inxire released the first version of ECMSDK 1.0 on time for Oracle OpenWorld 2014 as the successor of Oracle CMSDK.

ECMSDK 1.0 can run with Java 1.7 and now supports Oracle Database 12c as well as several middleware platforms, such as Oracle WebLogic Server, GlassFish Server and Apache Tomcat.

One of the main innovations in ECMDK 1.0 compared to Oracle CMSDK is the improved collaboration features. Social features like comments, activity streams, notifications, as well as follow and like are now part of the core API and can be used with any object inside the ECMSDK schema. This enables not only a faster development of Social ECM applications, but also offers context-sensitive conversations on structured and unstructured data within the Oracle Database. This assumes that the applications have been developed with the ECMSDK API.

As of now, ECMSDK 1.0 is freely available in the Downloads section. An Installation Guide can be found in section Documentation.
